Jerry Hegtvedt (Broker/Owner/Auctioneer) 

Founded Cedar Valley Iowa Realty in 2004 and Cedar Valley Auction Company in 2008 in Charles City, Iowa.  Our services continue to be independently owned and operated in our communities and have expanded with offices in New Hampton, Decorah and most recently in Cresco!  Jerry's Father, Edwin Hegtvedt, was raised North of Decorah, so expanding to our Decorah community is exciting and meaningful to Jerry and his Family.

Our auctions have many accommodations in both Charles City and Decorah.  We offer excellent food & beverages on site with plenty of seating.  We are handicap accessible and we've been known for our entertainment & FUN during live auctions, (our Auction Family always has a good time ~ We're not here for a long time, we're here for a good time!)

Our auctions in have state of the art cameras with large screen display systems to better view items being sold.  We have adequate storage available so items can be moved well in advance of sale date instead of having to wait until the last minute.  We can professionally move items with our enclosed trucks and trailers and have equipment to help you load anything you need AFTER an auction.  Cedar Valley Auction we take Care of our Customers.
